A tale of morality and the corrupting nature of power. Henry VIII wants a new wife and he'll stop at nothing until he gets her. A Man for All Seasons charts the true historical story of Thomas More as he attempts to uphold the law and prevent Henry VIII from divorcing his first wife and marrying again.

A Man for All Seasons is the first production of IpSkip Productions 2020 season. It features the acting talents of James McCluskey-Garcia as Thomas More, Adrian Barnes as Thomas Cromwell, Christopher Duncan as Common Man, Paul Briske as the Duke of Norfolk, Brad Martin as Richard Rich, Nicholas Bishop as Henry VIII, Tracey Korsten as Alice More, Thorin Cupit as Chapuys, Brian Godfrey as Cardinal Wolsey, Aled Proeve as William Roper, Hannah Tulip as Margaret More, Amanda Sharp as Catherine Anger and Andre Chaney as Archbishop Cranmer.

This historical play will be performing at the Bakehouse Theatre - Mainstage January 15 to 18.

A DOLL'S HOUSE

January 2019

Nora Helmer is living her dream life. Her husband has a new job and the money will soon been flowing in. But an old debt needs to be paid and the cost could ruin her family forever. Miriam Fietz and Nathan Quadrio’s adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic moves the action to mid-20th century London in this powerful examination of love, hate and the power of woman.

A Doll's House is the first show of IpSkip Productions 2017 season and is directed by Nathan Quadrio (Educating Rita, Steel Magnolias). This production features the acting talents of Allison Scharber as Nora, Matt Houston as Torvald, Georgia Stockham as Christine, Anthony Vawser as Krogstad and James McCluskey-Garcia as Dr Rank.

This powerful play will be performing at the Bakehouse Theatre - Mainstage January 16 to 19.

CHARLOTTE'S WEB

July 2018

Charlotte’s Web follows the story of Wilbur, the runt of a litter of pigs, and how he is saved by a young girl named Fern. When he eventually becomes too big for the farm everything seems lost – until he makes the acquaintance of a helpful spider, Charlotte. Based on the classic book by E.B. White, Joseph Robinette’s adaptation of Charlotte’s Web reduces the story down to a one hour show with eight actors playing multiple roles. This heart-warming adaptation is fun, funny and easy to watch.

Charlotte's Web is the second show of IpSkip Productions 2018 season and features Adelaide talents Eloise Quinn-Valentine, Lauren Taylor, Tarsha Cameron Rahimah Russell, Vanessa Lee Shirley, James Skilton and Jesy Burton. It is running July 16 - 20 at 10am!

STEEL MAGNOLIAS

January 2018

Truvy’s Beauty Shop is the centre of all gossip in Chinquapin, Louisiana.  Its regular customers represent the “anyone who’s anybody” of Chinquapin from the town’s former first lady to its premier socialite. First written as a coping mechanism for the death of playwright, Robert Harling’s mother, Steel Magnolias explores themes of love, life and loss as six women show strength in the greatest of adversities.

Steel Magnolias is the first show of IpSkip Productions 2018 season and is directed by Nathan Quadrio, director of our critically successful 2017 seasons of Willy Russell’s Educating Rita. This production features the acting talents of Lisa Simonetti (Beauty and the Beast, Flower Children) as Truvy, Rose Vallen (The Producers, Pippin) as Ouiser, Cate Rogers (Death of A Salesman, Holy Day) as M’Lynn, Julie Quick (All My Sons, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf) as Clairee, Georgia Broomhall (Fame, Catch Me If You Can) as Annelle and Casmira Hambledon (Violet, Les Miserables) as Shelby.

IpSkip Productions is thrilled to be presenting this all-star cast in this heart-warming play at the Bakehouse Theatre – Mainstage between January 10, 2018 and January 13, 2018.

LOVE LETTERS

June 2017

A.R Gurney's oft-performed two hander follows the complex and tumultuous relationship of Andrew and Melissa through the large collection of letters sent throughout their lives.

Not everybody gets the chance to experience the amazing theatre Adelaide has to offer. IpSkip Productions believes in providing opportunities for people to be a part of live theatre and that's why we're thrilled to announce that we will be bringing A.R. Gurney's heartwarming 'Love Letters' to the residents of The Phillip Kennedy Centre Residential Care and Respite in early July. This production will star theatre veterans David Grybowski and Rose Vallen who, between them, hold over 70 years of stage experience.

EDUCATING RITA

January AND April 2017

From the pen of Willy Russell – the man behind the musical hit, Blood Brothers – comes Educating Rita a play that explores the themes of education, class and self-worth through the relationship of a tutor and his pupil at an Open University. Whilst trawling her way through Shakespeare, Forster and Eliot, Rita discovers what it means to be herself amongst the countless expectations of others.

Educating Rita is the premiere production of IpSkip Productions, a company dedicated to creating quality theatre and arts opportunities. This production will be helmed by Nathan Quadrio and will star Lauren Renée as Rita and James McCluskey-Garcia as Frank. Lauren has just come off a star-turn as the titular role in Mary Poppins for Matt Byrne Media and as the Philadelphian socialite, Tracy Lord, in The Philadelphia Story for the Therry Dramatic Society. James has worked extensively in both amateur and professional theatre most recently touring in interactive horror shows interstate and appearing as Juror 2 in 12 Angry Men for Matt Byrne Media.

The entire team is thrilled to be bringing Russell’s heartwarming comedy to the Adelaide stage.
